Sona Asemani is a self taught artist born in 1994. She grew up in the south of iran.
After graduating as a bachelor of economics from Allame Tabatabai University , she decided to follow her passion and talent of her childhood in art and fashion.
She started her career as a professional artist by painting and line drawing in 2017. She’s mainly inspired by artist Pablo Picasso.
Because of her interest in embroidery and textile design which has a root in her hometown “Hormozgan” she combined her line drawings and embroidery in order to introduce an innovative art and give another perspective to her line drawings.
Her first collection on cap has been launched in April 2019. She chose to peresnt her work on caps to enter into fashion world and spread her fine art in life of society, specially among Iranian women who could wear those caps as an alternative of scarf and shawl.
The portraits that she creates influenced by her inner spirit with a magnificent mixture of colors. The eyes and the way that each portrait looks to audience is the point of attention in her works.
